    Course Overview:

The Physical Education course at Magnet High School was designed to incorporate individual skills and combine them with team concepts. The course will focus on history, sportsmanship, teamwork, and how sports fit into American society. In addition to covering team sports, our fitness course will focus on total body wellness, including: cardiovascular endurance, muscle strength and endurance, flexibility and body composition. There will be an emphasis placed on the direct correlation between a healthy body and a healthy mind and how an individual can achieve this.

    ·    To develop student appreciation for exercise and the positive effects it can have on a student's mental and physical outlook on life.
