I am exciited for my fourth year teaching in the UCVTS District. This year I teach Freshman Biology at AIT and district level AP Biology and Bioinformatics.

Before becoming a high school teacher at UCVTS I was a research scientist at Rutgers investigating DNA structure as well as an adjunct professor at Essex County College.   I reveived a BS degree from the University of Rochester in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering.  After completion of my undergraduate studies I worked at a mathamatical software company in the Boston area.  I returned to school to pursue a graduate degree and hold a Ph.D from Rutgers in Molecular Biology with a focus on computational biology.  After completion of my doctorate I spent 4 years working at a small pharmaceutical company, working in the area of computational drug discovery.

The best way to contact me is via email.  If needed I can set up a phone call or meeting during the school day.
