High school is an important time of learning in life, and I am honored to have the opportunity to contribute to that learning. I look forward to helping each child grow in knowledge and skills in mathematics. As a teacher, I believe that a student’s mastery of content in mathematics is crucial to his/her future. Know that I will strive to provide each child a firm foundation in this area!

To better cater the classroom to the students, I am always interested in learning more about my students—especially if there are ways to better meet their needs and assist in their intellectual development. Please feel free to contact me anytime during the year with any information you think would help me do this. The best form of communication for me is through email at vperng@ucvts.org. An alternative way to contact me is through the school phone number with the extension of 867. I will return your email or call as soon as possible. I encourage strong parental support for the students!

Below are the summer packets for students entering Calculus, AP Calculus AB, and AP Statistics. Make sure to complete these packets throughout the summer. Do not attempt to do all of it the day before school. The purpose of these packets is to continue your practice of topics that are necessary for the next class. This is not "busy work." It is absolutely imperative that you complete these packets on your own to ensure that your mind is refreshed and ready to jump into the new year.
