       Welcome to project based learning!

    All my classes have ongoing project that we work on and apply knowledge learned in that class.

    Web Design: This is an introduction to the design, creation, and maintenance of web pages and websites. Students learn how to critically evaluate website quality, learn how to create and maintain quality web pages, learn about web design standards and why they're important, and learn to create web pages. The course progresses from introductory work on web design to a culminating project in which students design and develop websites.

    This course prepares for HTML certification from W3 school.

    This course is only offered in first semester.

    Project Management: Project Management (PM) is increasingly important in today's world. This course covers the fundamental concepts and applied techniques for cost effective management of both long-term and short-term projects. The content deals with planning, scheduling, organizing, and controlling projects to successful completion. This course covers management and leadership, organizational structures, and conflict and negotiation. We work whole year on a project as a class. This course also has a yearend project student with working in a group.

    This course prepares for Project ++Certification from COMPTIA.

    Database Management I & II :  This course has two elements:

    1. Database Foundations: This course of introduces students to basic relational database concepts. The course teaches students relational database terminology, as well as data modeling concepts, Leveraging project based learning techniques, students will create and work with projects which challenge them to design, implement, and demonstrate a database solution for a business or organization.

    2. Database Design and Programming with SQL: This course of study teaches students to analyze complex business scenarios, design and create data models, and create databases using SQL. Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler and Application Express (APEX) are utilized to provide practical, hands-on, engaging activities. Leveraging projectbased learning techniques, students will create and work with projects which challenge them to design, implement, and demonstrate a database solution for a business or organization.

    This course prepares for Database Foundations Certified Junior Associate from ORACLE.
